The best laid plans of mice, men and fanfic writers  
So, funnily enough, between trips to the hospital, house cleaning, job hunting and just general RL I haven't had enough time to write the next part of Methos on Discworld *pouts* But you all have my solemn oath that I will write it before this year is out!!

But this leaves me with a lack of fic to post on the 17th - my 5th LJ anniversary. I know it's not desperately important in the scheme of things, but *I* want to post fic to mark the occasion. So, prompt me!

Give me a fandom, characters, pairing, song lyrics, a picture, a prompt of any shape or size and I will give you at least a drabble. Crossovers are of course welcome. (If you only give me fandom(s) or characters then I will probably write something anniversary related)

oh 5 LJ years, nice!

you know what jumped into my mind? XMen/Heroes. Because, Magneto would have tried to recruit Sylar so fast, Sylar's head would spin.

or, Heroes/Highlander. Because, Claire's power makes her practically immortal. And so does Sylar's, now that he's got hers (and lets not forget Adam). One of them must have/would have/will come in contact with regular Immortals at some point, right? :)

(damn, but I miss Heroes. Perhaps it's time to re-watch selected episodes.)

If so, how about this...
John Watson thought Harry had been doing well to stay sober so when she contacts him in hysterics about little blue men drinking beer he's disappointed to say the least, until he has to face the truth... there actually are little blue men drinking beer.

OK, I know it's not a small prompt, but it just came into my head and you're my depository for silly ideas.

Firefly/Highlander; Richie (+/- anyone else you should feel like writing); Serenity's 'birthday present'

Or how about something to do with Myfanwy? Could fit in with the Ivor the Engine crossover perhaps?
