Nothing on the job front yet, just applying for what I can and crossing fingers! I think I'm going to have to do a mass CV mailout and see if any stick. And start looking at volunteer work for something to do in the meantime.

On the good news front, my Mam is finally home from hospital *happy dance*. She still has a vacuum pump attached to her foot so the district nurse has to visit every few days to change the dressings, but it's so great to have her home again even if it isn't quite 'normal' yet (whatever the hell normal is!!). Also a relief because the hospital she was in is ten miles away so we were travelling forty miles every day to visit her and with the petrol strike causing shortages it could have become a problem.

Fic is being written, those of you who gave me prompts please have patience, I swear I'll get there eventually! :)
