Calling all UK citizens.....
I hope you're going out to vote today, I know that voter apathy is high and it's tempting to sit back and do nothing, especially in the EU elections, but we can't let the fascists win. Literally.

And if you aren't voting or can't for whatever reason, then please follow this link to Hope not Hate and do something positive to stop the BNP:

In reading about the BNP, a thought hit me; Hey, wasn't Jesus Jewish. Sorry, couldn't help that.

I have been following this with interest and have high hopes the BNP will be defeated.

I can't believe they actually got council seats. I'm so ashamed to be British right now.

I find the mere idea that anyone would vote for the BNP, let alone enough people to win any seat intensely disturbing.

The monster raving loony party would be a better prospect.

It is disturbing. But lots of otherwise sane and rational people are starting to fall into the trap of 'well, yes they have some very right wing policies, but they aren't Nazis anymore, and they do have a point about immigration'

Which is of course lunacy.

I did vote Monster Raving Loony once. The candidate didn't win though.

Came home from work and happily did my democratic thing. :)

I got a leaflet from the BNP. It made me feel dirty just touching it. Yick.

I got one of those. Pulled it out of the letterbox and straight in the recycling bin.

I voted Green. It was that or Lib Dem (who I usually vote for in the national elections) and the Greens had a very strong anti-racism message this time around.

Anything but Lib-Dem is throwing your vote away round here, unfortunately, so one has to vote strategically to stop the damn Tories.
